Start
of practices have been delayed further
Due to the weather, our contractor can not repair the Club boat
as the weather needs to be between 10-15 degrees Celsius for the
fibreglass to cure properly. With the coming weekend and "nice"
weather, we hope that the contractor can start and finish the
repairs.
On-water dragon boat practices will tentatively scheduled to
begin on Monday, June 4th, 2007.

Semi-Competitive
/ Competitive practice -- Voyageur canoe
The Club will arrange to continue semi-competitive and competitive
practice for next week in Voyageur canoes.
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm (on water)
Thursday, May 31st, 2007 - 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm (on water)

Start of practices have
been delayed -- dragon boat repairs
The Club's dragon boat repairs have been delayed which forces us
to delay the start of practice. Practices are tentatively slated
to start on Monday, May 28th, 2007. Please check back for more updates.

Semi-Competitive / Competitive
practice -- Voyageur canoe
Due to the dragon boat delay, semi-competitive and competitive paddlers
will paddle in Voyageur Canoes on Tuesday, 22-May-2007 and Thursday,
24-May-2007 at 7:00 pm. Please arrive at 6:30 for stretching etc.
This is by sign up basis only as the Club only has access to (2)
canoes which fit 10 per canoe. Please sign up with Charlene at mo_charlene@yahoo.ca.

Lethbridge Dragon Boat
Festival - July 7 - 8, 2007
TDBC is aiming to send a youth and adult team to compete in the
Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival on July 7 - 8, 2007.
For Club members only, the Club will be subsidizing roughly
20% of the registration and accommodations costs. Please see details

Alcan Vancouver Dragon
Boat Festival -- June 16 - 17, 2007
TDBC is aiming to send a team to compete in the Alcan
Dragon Boat Festival in Vancouver, BC.
For Club members only, the Club will be subsidizing 20%

Yogo/Pilates Sessions
Yoga/Pilates sessions are offered every Thursday till the end
of May. These sessions are a great opporuntity to get work out
the kinks in the body and obtain some level of flexibility prior
to the beginning of the eason. Open to everyone in the Club.
